Traverse Global Background

Traverse Global

TG COMMODITIES UG LTD

Bridging the gap between international markets and East Africa’s rich resources through precision logistics and execution-driven trading.

Our Foundation

Established 2015

Traverse Global, established in 2015 in Dubai, UAE, is a general trading company operating across import and export activities, with a strong focus on commodities and heavy machinery spare parts.

The company was founded by Ahmed Ismail, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the UAE’s corporate ecosystem, particularly within the shipping and logistics sector, applying practical industry knowledge to a focused, execution-driven trading model.

In recent years, Traverse Global has expanded its operations to source commodities directly from East Africa. To support this strategic move, the company has established a local presence in the region, enabling closer relationships with farmers and suppliers. This expansion is formalized through its Ugandan subsidiary, TG Commodities (UG) Ltd., which serves as the company’s on-the-ground sourcing and coordination arm in East Africa.
